TubeWrist is operated by Mukhriddin Ergashaliev ("we", "us").
Summary
TubeWrist does not collect your data. We do not operate a server that receives anything from the app. There is no account with us, no analytics, and no advertising identifier.
What stays on your device
The following are stored only on your Apple Watch and are never transmitted to us or to anyone else:
- Favorites
- Watch history
- Recent searches
- Playback queue
- App settings (quality, audio-only, region, language, playback speed)
Deleting the app deletes all of it. We cannot recover it, because we never had it.
What we do not collect
We do not collect your name, email address, location, contacts, health data, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, crash reports, or usage analytics. The app contains no third-party SDKs of any kind.
Purchases
Subscriptions and one-time purchases are processed entirely by Apple through your Apple ID. We never see your payment details, billing address, or Apple ID. Apple provides us only with aggregate, anonymous sales figures. Apple's handling of that transaction is governed by Apple's own privacy policy.
Optional Google sign-in
TubeWrist offers an optional Google sign-in. It is not required to use the app or to purchase a subscription, and every feature including playback works while signed out. It exists only to access videos that are age-restricted or that require proof you are not an automated client.
If you choose to sign in:
- The resulting access token is stored in your device's Keychain and never leaves the device except in requests to Google's own services
- We do not receive, see, or store that token
- The requested scope is limited to YouTube read access
- Signing out from Settings deletes the stored token immediately
Network requests
The app makes requests directly from your watch to third-party services in order to search for and play video. Those services receive your IP address and standard request metadata, as any internet-connected app would, and their own privacy policies govern what they do with it. We are not a party to those requests and receive nothing from them.
Children
TubeWrist is not directed at children under 13 and displays unfiltered third-party video and comments. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone — including children — because we do not collect data at all.
Your rights
Rights such as access, correction, portability, and erasure apply to personal data a company holds about you. We hold none, so there is nothing for us to disclose, correct, export, or delete. Data held on your device is under your control and is removed by deleting the app.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date above and, where the change is material, note it in the app's release notes.
